This could only happen in Dubai – a new resort, which claims to be the world’s ‘first luxury underwater vessel resort.’
Opening in 2020, Floating Venice will offer an ‘authentic Venetian experience’ in the Middle East.
Above the sea, there will be rising domes that resemble the Basilica San Marco, gondolas, acrylic-bottom pools and 12 floating beaches. Underwater there will be restaurants, bars and a spa; together with 400,000 square feet of coral reef and an on-site coral nursery to maintain a thriving marine life in the area.
Floating Venice will be located in Dubai’s World Islands.
